This is the home page for information for, from and about the volunteers at Daley Ranch and Dixon Lake in Escondido.

Daley Ranch is a beautiful, 3200-acre natural area, preserved and protected by the City of Escondido in 1997. It serves not only as a multi-use recreation area, but also as a conservation bank to protect against the overdevelopment of open space in north San Diego County.

The content on this site is from a variety of sources, but mostly from the Volunteers of Daley Ranch. There's text, but there are also many, many photos (JPEGs), audio clips (MP3s), a couple of QuickTime video (M4Vs), several reference documents (PDFs) and links to outside web sites, too. If you have a high-speed Internet connection, you should have no problem enjoying the multimedia. If you have a low-speed dial-up connection, you may be in for a long wait (sorry, Mom).
